△t=25K means the standard temperature rise, which means the temperature rise of 25 degrees Celsius. K is the basic unit of Kelvin temperature scale, but its basic measure is equivalent to the basic unit of Celsius temperature, ℃. Gas water heater is designed and calculated based on the "standard conditions" of initial water temperature of 15℃ (close to the average cold water temperature across the country) and output water temperature of 40℃ (close to the bathing temperature of most people), so the water heater is based on 25℃ as the basic temperature rise.
The hot water rate of gas water heaters is a technical term, which in commercial colloquialism is what we call "liters". A 12-litre water heater, for example, is a gas burner that can produce up to 12 litres of hot water per minute (the meaning of "rated" is here)
The number of liters marked on the gas water heater refers to the hot water production capacity of the gas fast water heater, which is an important technical index of the product performance. In popular interpretation, the water heater is adjusted to the maximum firepower (rated heat load), when the hot water temperature is 25℃ higher than the cold water temperature, the hot water flow per minute. Hot water production capacity actually reflects the maximum heat output of the water heater, only in the unit of hot water output per minute at a temperature rise of 25℃. A 10L gas water heater, for example, is meant to produce 10 litres of hot water at 25 degrees Celsius per hour.
